In the role of Project Officer, you will provide advice and support to business units and project teams in their development and implementation of departmental policy and procedures relating to the management of the Active Transport Investment Program (ATIP) and Transport System Planning Program (TSPP).

**Accountabilities include**:

- Assist with the development, management, monitoring and review of the ATIP. - Assist with the development and coordination of project documentation and reporting, and financial management, processing and reporting tasks of the ATIP. - Provide administrative support and assist with the reporting for the ATIP.
- End to end procurement activities for the ATIP and TSPP, including procurement planning and documentation, evaluation and supplier negotiation, contract documentation, supplier arrangements. - Foster and maintain strong and effective relationships with local government partners and other key stakeholders involved with the ATIP.
- Assist in the preparation of correspondence, briefings, reporting, media and communication documents for the ATIP.
- Provide administrative support at briefings, meetings and forums including development and coordination of information and documentation as required.
- Use initiative and resourcefulness to deliver timely and effective results and to organise work within agreed timeframes and with minimum supervision.
- Participate in a team environment, ensuring effective communication and providing appropriate feedback and support to other team members.
- Comply with public sector legislation, standards, policies, practices, and procedures.
- Actively participate in performance conversations to build and support a culture of performance improvement.

This role reports to the Manager (Cycling and Walking)
