We are looking for a Project Officer to join the Office of the State Archivist team in this exciting and rewarding role.
The role will provide executive administrative and project support to the Queensland State Archivist and the Office of the State Archivist. In this role you will be required to establish and maintain an understanding of the diverse activities of QSA and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
**In this role you will**:

- Provide high-quality confidential executive administrative support to the Queensland State Archivist for meetings, committees, working groups and events/functions, including but not limited to preparation of agendas, minutes, papers and presentations.
- Assist the Office of the State Archivist in triaging departmental requests including executive correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation of briefing notes and correspondence for the Queensland State Archivist ensuring accuracy, correct templates and protocols are followed and deadlines are met
- Undertake recordkeeping for the Queensland State Archivist.
- Liaise with senior leaders from within QSA and across the department using discretion, particularly with sensitive and/or confidential matters, and develop ongoing working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide project support to the Office of the State Archivist, including investigation, research, and analysis on sensitive matters.
- Coordinate and prepare QSA monthly and other reports as required, including the extraction and manipulation of data.
