**About the Role**

As a Project Officer, you will be crucial in supporting the execution of critical strategic and business improvement projects. You will be an integral part of the project management team, supporting the project manager, change manager, business analyst, project executives, and relevant business units.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as a proactive support system for the project manager, change manager, business analyst, project executives, and relevant business units, ensuring smooth project operations.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of project terminology and work effectively with key stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and produce minutes and action lists, providing comprehensive secretarial support.
- Contribute to creating idea definitions, project plans, templates, and change management/training collateral.
- Deliver top-notch clerical and administrative services using Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio), electronic databases, and record and diary management systems.
- Develop and maintain a program management calendar to ensure each goal and objective is timely.
- Identify potential project risks and issues, escalating them to the project manager as necessary.
- Keep all related documentation organised and accessible on platforms such as SharePoint.

**About You**
- You have previous experience as a Project Officer or Project Coordinator within large, complex environments.
- You are certified in Prince2 or have 3 years of relevant experience in projects and programs.
- You possess knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- You have experience working within government and/or legal/policy departments (highly desirable).
- You are an excellent communicator, self-starter, and take initiative in your work. You can work autonomously and are comfortable taking the lead when necessary.
