An exciting opportunity has become available for an experience and qualified Workforce Analyst to join the Department of Customer Service in our People & Culture, Strategy & Analytics team. This is a great opportunity to join an inspiring and successful team.

**About this role**

This role will enable leaders to make data driven decision regarding the Department of Customer Service workforce.

You will find creative ways to extract, merge data sets and present data, including ensuring an inclusive approach to the way in which information is accessible to a diverse audience.

**In this role you will be**:

- Involved in the development of a suite of regular reports on corporate Key Performance Indicators and Business Metrics for key senior stakeholders.
- Responsible for developing analytics within the constraints of the existing workforce systems, statutory and government reporting requirements to meet the needs of the Department
- Responsible for driving automation by facilitating the transition of more HR data onto the Corporate dashboards

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- A customer-centric mindset with experience in statistical analysis, reconciliation and interpretation of workforce data and insights.
- Ability to work autonomously with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong excel skills and proven ability working with large datasets
- Strong communication skills and proven ability in stakeholder management at all levels
- HR background with a good understanding of workforce management systems would be favourable but not essential
- Extracting data from SAP and experience using Analysis for Microsoft Excel and Power BI would be favourable but not essential
