**The work hours are Monday to Thursday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM.**

**We are looking for someone available to work 3 or 4 days at the start of the week only.**

We’re seeking casual employees for 25-35 hours per week, with the potential for a permanent role based on performance.

As a Deli Clerk, you’ll assist shoppers at the deli counter, recommend foods, provide samples, cut meats and cheeses, and weigh packages for sale.

**Deli Clerk responsibilities & skills include**:
We’re looking for a Deli Clerk to assist customers at the deli and sandwich counter. You’ll work with the Deli Manager and team, providing excellent customer service, processing orders, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities include:

- Serving customers, recommending products, and preparing sandwiches.
- Operating packing machines, labeling, and ensuring products are ready for delivery.
- Cleaning workstations, equipment, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Preparing and serving coffee beverages.
- Managing stock, assisting with displays, and handling customer inquiries.
- Utilize the point-of-sale (POS) system to input orders accurately and process payments.

You’ll need to be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
