Banking Officer

Join the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) as a Bank Officer in our Canberra Branch and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. This position offers impactful work that contributes to the Australian people, with an opportunity to work in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline support for the RBA’s Online Banking Service and other banking products- Handle customer enquiries and perform a variety of administrative tasks- Reconcile internal administrative accounts and customer accounts- Assist with daily transactions, Help Desk support, and counter services- Maintain accurate records and manage reporting tasks
Skills and Experience:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage- competing deadlines- High attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office- Customer service experience is desirable but not essential- Year 12 or equivalent, or relevant work experience
Your Team:
You will be part of the Banking Department, which provides essential banking services to Australian Government departments. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain a deep understanding of banking arrangements for the Commonwealth.
