The Finance Officer is responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, is required to perform functions related to the role of Collector of Relevant Money and assists with the bank reconciliation function. The occupant of this position assists with the management of the department’s credit card and travel profile program and the administration of the expense management system.

The Finance Officer is responsible for processing financial transactions for the Parliamentary Budget Office, which is managed through a memorandum of understanding.

The occupant of this position applies knowledge of, and has experience in, financial reporting and administration, excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates tact and judgement in carrying out their duties.
