What you’ll contribute to

The Assistant to the General Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the General Manager and Senior Managers by coordinating divisional functions and ensuring they are optimally supported in their role.

This role is based in Port Melbourne and is a Permanent role.

How you’ll make an impact- Monitor and coordinate all incoming and outgoing correspondence and ensure the General Manager is up to date on all current business issues.- Maintain the day-to-day operational matters of the division by liaising with internal and external stakeholders in relation to divisional business activities and provide advice on behalf of the General Manager where appropriate.- Prepare and co-ordinate the collation of executive and management reporting on behalf of the division.- Support the General Manager and Senior Managers with preparing and coordinating meetings in relation to divisional activities and visitors, and co-ordinate divisional event management activities.- Prepare and collate IT communication via various methods/ platforms across the company as required.- Assist with divisional financial management, including reporting and cost control.
