We’re all about delivering marketing leading experiences for our clients and have an excellent opportunity for someone to join our team as Workplace Maintenance Coordinator. In this role you will be primarily responsible for conducting or coordinating repairs and maintenance within Ernst & Young (EY) tenancies across Sydney, supporting the workplace team deliver exceptional presentation and operating standards.

The role is not just about the basics and requires someone who is able to work effectively in a team environment, whilst managing competing priorities. We are looking for a team member who brings an energetic and proactive approach, whilst having the ability to work autonomously. **About you - your Responsibilities, Skills and Experience**
- Understand the importance of competing priorities, through ongoing engagement with the workplace manager. Work through items that are essential versus those items which can be delayed to a later time.
- Undertake general handyman and repairs/maintenance activities as required or within relevant scope, qualifications or experience.
- Actively monitor and respond to actions raised within the site maintenance database (Safety Culture). Effectively log, track, update and close actions via the agreed processes. Ensure statutory and maintenance compliance is maintained at all sites within Sydney, collaborating with the workplace manager and team to update and complete compliance actions.
- Coordinate with suppliers on planned preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring the work is completed to standard and within set timeframes. Conduct or coordinate reactive maintenance as required, ensuring satisfactory job attendance and completion. Seek pricing and quotes for the completion of works as required and liaise with the workplace manager on relevant cost approvals.
- Ensure respective contractors are compliant within the site contractor compliance portal (Rapid), ensuring all compliance measures are satisfied prior to site attendance.
- Undertake floor and equipment inspections with the workplace team as required. Identify and report issues via Safety Culture.
- Ensure the capital asset register is kept up to date and maintained according to agreed standards and procedures. Provide recommendations for the service, maintenance or replacement of assets as required.
- Maintain positive relationship with key external and internal stakeholders to support the delivery and completion of maintenance activities.
- Other duties and works as may be assigned on a day-to-day basis as required.

**Skills**
- 3-5 years of applicable experience in similar business function and knowledge in the maintenance of building services.
- Ability to work well within team environments. Takes an active role to build relationships with team members.
- Microsoft Office Suite Skills
- Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint
- Spoken communication: able to clearly present information through the spoken word and maintains open communication.
- Policy and procedure: able to relate to routine operations in a manner that is consistent with existing solutions to problems; conform to established policies and procedures.
- Written communication: able to write clearly, and effectively present ideas and to document activities; to read and interpret written information.
- Organisation and planning: able to organise or schedule tasks and liaise with team members to complete the tasks.
