**Your new role**
The change manager will be required develop and implement a change management plan which supports the Branch prepare, transition and adopt to a new operating model including:
- Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
- Supporting staff adopt the change, including by being a trusted advisor at all levels, through the development and introduction of processes and tools which facilitate the integration and engagement and through capability uplift aligned with new functions
- Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
**What you'll need to succeed**
The right person for this role will have a strong combination of the following characteristics:
- A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and active listening skills
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Able to work in ambiguous situations
- Forward looking with a holistic approach
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
- Change management certification
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
You will already have or have the ability to obtain a security clearance. You must be an Australian citizen to work in the Australian Public Service. You must also be prepared to undertake a police check.
