**Your new company**

This large Federal Government department is looking to engage with a EL2 Director Budget Coordination.

**Your new role**

This role sits within the External Budgets and Revenue Branch of a large federal government department. You will be leading a small team of 4. Below are some of the high-level duties of the role/team:

- Comeback tracker and CFO tracker - engagement with internal and portfolio agencies
- Estimates updates, appropriation bills, monthly profile
- Cash Management Support - engagement with DoF for sec 77 Budget, appropriation quarantine matters
- ASL returns
- Collection and Secretary’s Minute
- Movement of Funds Process
- Statement of Risks
- Clearance of Cab Subs and associated Min Subs - Department led
- SCONs brief clearance - Department led
- Subs forecast - CFO & MO
- Strat Coord input
- General Budget queries and NPP process advice
- Budget Communication and stakeholder engagement (training/regular engagement)

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Understanding of the Australian Government Federal Budget, Cabinet Processes and Financial Management
- Demonstrated experience with the Department of Finance’s Central Budget Management System (CBMS)
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP.
- Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Ability to provide advice on, and implement, process improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience leading a diverse team
