**About the Position**:
As an accounts payable officer at WHSmith, you will report into the AP/AR Manager. You will carry various responsibilities, and your day to day tasks will consist of:

- Timely and accurate entry of approved supplier invoices into the system
- Reconciling invoices to goods receipts and matching pricing of products to our internal systems
- Obtaining authorisation and coding of invoices
- Processing daily manual payments and weekly automated payment runs
- Allocating payments on system
- Monthly supplier reconciliations for key accounts
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Dealing with and responding to supplier queries
- Maintain supplier files
- Liaise with both internal and external departments in the business
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- High volume invoice processing
- Engaging and effective communication style
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Dynamic and proactive
- Strong Organisational Skills
