**Purpose of the role**:
An Account Executive drives Zembl’s growth and revenue by building relationships to close sales with small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customers. You will be responsible for identifying customer needs, building relationships, overcoming objections, and achieving sales targets. The Account Executive plays a crucial role in driving revenue generation, expanding the customer base, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, ultimately supporting the Zembl’s growth objectives.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Drive sales growth by closing deals with SME customers and meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand customer pain points, requirements, and business challenges to propose tailored solutions.
- Build strong relationships and rapport with SME customers through effective communication, active listening, and empathy to establish trust and long-term partnerships.
- Negotiating with customers by addressing concerns and providing persuasive responses that showcase the value and benefits of the offered solutions
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's products, services, and competitive landscape to effectively position and differentiate offerings.
- Conduct energy comparisons, assess customer needs, and provide accurate and informative comparisons to drive informed decision-making through a consultative selling approach
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional relevant products or services that enhance the customer experience and provide added value.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards while engaging with customers, ensuring excellent QA & compliance results.
- Effectively manage and update sales pipelines, track progress, and provide regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and achievements.

**Type of person suited to this role**:
This role suits an individual that is highly motivated and results-driven with a strong sales aptitude. You are skilled at identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions through a consultative and customer-centric approach. Ideally you will have:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- A minimum of 12 months of experience as a Sales Development Representative, developing lead generation and prospecting skills.
- Experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role, with a focus on SME customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Resilience and persistence in overcoming objections and closing deals.
- Adept at building rapport and establishing long-term customer relationships.
- Familiarity with energy products, services, and the ability to consultative sell energy products to customers.
- Refined soft skills, including active listening, negotiation, and relationship building.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and goals.
- A passion for sales, customer engagement, and a drive to exceed expectations.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
