To assist with the operational needs of the Utilities business in the implementation of processes, workflows, data analysis and reporting using the Job and Asset Management System (JAMS). JAMS is an in-house software system that is used throughout the Utilities business to manage their operations and maintenance contracts and to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform business analysis activities to scope out the requirements of a project need.
- Conduct workshops with stakeholders and guide them to desirable and appropriate solutions.
- Produce clear and concise documentation of requirements, processes, features, models etc
- Liaise and with the Application Manager to review proposed solutions.
- Once agreed, configure the solution in JAMS using the JAMS tools and standard modules, building customised views and workflows as required.
- Project manage your own implementations and report progress to the Operational Support and Application Managers through JAMS tools and JIRA.
- Note: An agile and progressive/iterative approach is used and will require constant communication with the respective project.
- To learn, adopt and use the standard development and testing techniques, conventions, patterns etc. used in JAMS setups.

Experience Required
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology is desired.
- Note: Training period required to learn how to configure JAMS modules, models, views, and workflows. Additional training to learn SQL programming to moderate and advanced levels.
- An adept business analyst, at least 3+ years’ experience.
- Good understanding and experience with SQL, preferably in MS SQL Server.
- Familiarity with JSON or XML.
- Basic understanding of HTML.
- Ability to work with data in the form of querying, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience using modern reporting tools such as PowerBI.
- Good technical experience and ability/desire to learn the JAMS system and upskill to advanced SQL skills.
- Prior experience working in Telecommunication, Gas, Electricity and Water Utilities industry domains is preferred.
