- Job Description Summary

This position has responsibility for working collaboratively from within the Workforce Planning team to: Elicit, analyse, translate, and document business requirements into specifications that will allow for the development of new features, technology solutions and BI reporting; Understand, interpret and investigate operational needs, problems and opportunities; acting as a key contributor to: Planning documentation, related contractual artefacts and reports; Recommendations for improvements in reports & business processes; Supporting the implementation of same
- About the Role
- Provide analysis, solution development, continuous improvement, and governance, related to project progress and productivity reporting. This includes creating and implementing project tracking templates and summaries, based on agreed project methodology, data, and tracking units.
- Implementation of automation via varied tools where applicable, to create efficiency and streamlining.
- Establish baseline performance targets via estimates and / or baseline schedules.
- Develop, create, and implement daily digital project forms, which provide agreed and required information, used to create daily project tracking tools and reporting that can be utilised by the project team.
- Consult with key internal stakeholders to ensure all project measures and information aligns to requirements, expectations, and governance, to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.
- Report project status and escalate/ mitigate risks and issues according to project work plan.
- Utilise and implement recommended portfolio, program and project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking.
- Analyse, develop solutions, processes, and governance, for continuous improvement initiatives as directed - such as creating internal project milestone approval requests to help drive and establish defined processes that utilise consistent and automated processes that provide transparency for approvals and consistent targeted reporting.
- Work with project teams to proactively identify areas of risk that may negatively impact project targets and put plans in place to mitigate and resolve issues.
- Monitor and control the quality management process related to project Management, manage expectations, conduct milestone reviews, manage process performance, conduct continuous improvement and causal analysis activities as directed.
- Analyzing project records in the project tracker to be used for future estimates.
- Scheduling Project Review meetings and ensuring all required reports from different projects are ready and accurate within the required timeframe.
- Owning and overseeing SharePoint to ensure reports are aligned with monthly reporting.
- Supervising the PEX process and reporting PEX status in accordance with company policy.
- Help in the development and implementation and manage of risk register and related reports.
