ConstructEng Australia are partnering exclusively with ADG Engineers to recruit an Associate Director of Construction Services. The position is based in their modern North Sydney office, conveniently located opposite the train station.

ADG Consulting Engineers was founded in 2002 and since then has grown to a staff of over 240 in offices throughout Australia and remains led by their founding partners. Their offices are located in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Darwin, Adelaide and Perth. They are considered experts across structural engineering, construction services (temporary works), civil engineering and virtual design, and work together in order to deliver a complete solution to a project.

Their Sydney Construction Services team of ten engineers and technicians provide a full range of temporary works and construction engineering consulting services in multiple sectors, focusing on the development of safe, considered and innovative solutions to the most challenging problems encountered in the construction of projects. The team pride themselves on working seamlessly with all project stakeholders, ensuring no solution is developed in isolation and without consideration of the potential implications on other areas of the project.

As Associate Director, you will be expected to:

- Have significant temporary works and associated engineering design and project delivery experience.
- Managed relevant successful projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of delivering projects within schedule and budget.
- Ability to manage design and construction variations and costs.
- Effective communication skills to lead and mentor the existing team of engineers within the group.
- Manage projects, delegate workload and interface with key clients.
- Strong technical engineering skills to critically assess and review designs by others.

**About you**
- Tertiary degree qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Chartered Professional Engineer status (CPEng).
- Experience working on projects across a variety of industry sectors - transport, commercial, residential.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and their impact on design.
