- Clerk Grade 11/12 with a salary range of $145,378 - $168,130
- Temporary up to 30 June 2025
- Based in Sydney CBD
**About the role**
The Associate Director, People Transformation provides expert advice and services in people, culture, recruitment, and workforce management. The role support business transformation and change initiatives, including organisational design, job design, and change management. The Associate Director, People Transformation will be responsible for:
- Leading the provision of strategic and technical advice on organisational realignments and restructures, ensuring alignment of people management strategies with business needs
- Overseeing the provision of expert advice and support on talent acquisition methodologies, promoting best practice, legislative compliance, and alignment with government and organisational policies
- Leading the deployment of change management and people engagement activities to support successful implementation of change initiatives
- Managing the design, development, and implementation of organisational structures during restructure, including job design, role profiling, role descriptions and capability definition
- Ensuring appropriate governance of organisational design and capability alignment across the Department
- Collaborating with People & Capability to ensure implementation of best practices and staying abreast of current trends in organisational design, recruitment, capability frameworks, and job design
- Contributing to business planning and strategy development to ensure effective integration of people-related insights, processes, and programs.
**About You**
- **Extensive experience in people management, organisational design, recruitment, and change management within a large and complex organisation
- A strong understanding of contemporary HR practices, relevant legislation, and government policies
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic advice and influence key stakeholders
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capability
