**About the company**
Our large NSW State Government client delivers insurance and care services to the community of NSW. Whether a person is severely injured in the workplace or on our roads, they support their long-term care needs to improve quality of life outcomes, including helping people return to work.
**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a professional Administration Support Officer with high proficiency in data entry to join their team in Gosford with hybrid flexibility to work some days remotely from home. This is an estimated 6-month temp assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within the Agency Claims Division, you will be required to provide efficient and effective administrative support to frontline teams
Your duties will include, but won’t be limited to the following
- High volume data processing of personal information into the system
- Manage financial interactions to ensure payment of invoices and claimant weekly benefits and reimbursements
- Process payment coding, gazetted fees and medical invoices into the claims system
- Maintain up to date knowledge of claims functions, support queue enquiries through high volume claims periods
- Deliver professional and empathetic customer service
- Answer enquiries providing timely and accurate information
- Escalate complex queries
- Undertake entry level case management activities for non-significant claims
- Triage correspondence ensuring effective and timely outcomes
- Manage and maintain files and records for legal and information requests
- Gather and collate information to support informed decision making outcomes
- Records and database management ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following
- Demonstrated Claims Support or Administration experience
- Insurance, Workers Compensation or Government industry experience preferred
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- High attention to detail
- Quick learner, adaptable, flexible and team player attitude
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
- Excellent typing skills and efficiency
- Reliable remote internet access
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
