About the Role
As an Oversight Reporting Analyst in our Institutional Operations AU&PNG, Team you’ll play a key role in working with existing business performance leads to help establish/refine reporting data (predominately focused on Real Events/NFR data), and insights capability of Governance and Oversight business through hands on analytics, support in the facilitation of reporting needs and delivering initial insights directly to the Senior Manager Governance & Oversight.

What will your day look like?
**This role is accountable for**:

- Working in partnership with business and BG&C teams to help gather and collate data through ANZ wide systems, to support/enable determination of reportability
- Time critical information provision to the Governance and Oversight function
- Where appropriate, translating data into insights to assist with workflow and queue management of events
- Assisting Event Management discussions with reporting
- Generating, monitoring, presenting, and analysing relevant business performance metrics (within the Governance and Oversight remit)
- Identification of patterns/trends.
- Providing ad-hoc analysis, reporting & data to support business needs

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

- Strong Analyst experience
- Analytical and inquisitive mind-set to continuously improve the level of insight surfaced
- Hands-on knowledge and experience with tools and techniques for analysis, data manipulation and presentation
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel (e.g complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, data cleansing & visualisation)
- An understanding of how to present and visualise data using the right tools for the right purposes
- Sound communication and presentation skills.
- Some exposure to capabilities to source, join and derive insights from disparate data sources
- Ability to translate data insights into practical business recommendations
- Strong Problem Solving skills
