An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reporting Analyst to join Service Stream in our Collins Street office
About the Role
Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Reporting Analyst to join our growing company. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely, effective, and accurate reporting to management and NBN Co. of the status of national activities within the ODM body of work.
Nature of position: Permanent, Part Time
Location: Collins Street, VIC
Reporting Line: National Program Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with project and work stream leaders to receive accurate feeds in a timely manner.
- Consolidate and distil complex reports into executive level reports.
- Development and refinement of new reporting structures and mechanisms
- Consultation with interested internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive and responsive statistical analysis
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Utilisation of and extraction from databases, spreadsheets, other documentation and business systems
- Delivery of performance and status reporting to management and NBN Co
- Management of the reporting process and signoff of reporting templates
- Management of all changes that impact function reporting
- Creation & maintenance of process & workflow documentation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to discuss/solicit reporting needs with internal and external stakeholders. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated knowledge and experience with within the Telecommunications or field service industry in a reporting role. You will also demonstrate and possess the following:
- Advanced Excel skills including knowledge of formulas and data manipulation
- Sound understanding of a national operations environment
- Systems-thinking approach to problem solving
- Strong statistical analysis skills, specifically relating to operational performance
- Ability to design measurement systems to identify problems and process flow congestion, and to measure effectiveness of change
- Ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL report writing language
- Working knowledge of ConSol (Yarris) software
- Experience working at a national (operations) level is desirable
