Adelaide Region SA, Australia Bendigo & Adelaide Bank Full time

About us

Our vision to be Australia’s Bank of choice drives us to set the example of how banking should be: placing our people, customers, partners, and shareholders at the centre of everything we do.

Within our People & Culture function sits our Workforce Enablement Delivery team. This team is focused on enhancing our customer experience, simplifying our workplace, ensuring compliance and optimum risk management, as well as proactive planning of the People & Culture delivery agenda. Supporting the design and delivery of people and process frameworks and initiatives for enterprise productivity, continuous improvement, and data led decision making. This team is the front door for business requests and solution design requests to Workforce Enablement.

About the role

We have a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity for an Implementation Lead to join the team in a part time capacity for 3 days per week.

This role works in partnership with the Manager Implementation and the Workforce Enablement team to optimise our People Systems by designing/updating operational processes that focus on simplicity and outstanding user experiences. As such you are the superuser for all our People Systems across recruitment, learning, payroll, and HR. This role will work closely with the People Systems team on project work and BAU troubleshooting.

Day to day you’ll combine your analytical thinking and eye for detail to map and critically assess current processes for BAU operations, as well as new projects and initiatives. Understanding the flow of data, how it is managed and transformed, as well as the people, tools, timings, and operational requirements used throughout. You’ll also be responsible for documentation, ensuring knowledge portals and procedure guides are up to date, and that stakeholder groups are kept informed and updated.

You don’t have to come from a background in People & Culture, although this would be beneficial. Most importantly you’ll bring your continuous improvement mindset, as well as the ability to partner with stakeholders and ask the right questions to gather requirements to be able to solve and create process efficiencies.

Join a People & Culture function whose purpose is to do great things every day to enrich the employee experience, making us a better big Bank. Be part of a small collaborative team that are passionate about simplifying our workplace and people processes.

This position can be based in Adelaide or Bendigo for the days that you’re in the office, with hybrid ways of working our norm.

Critically evaluate current process and identify double-ups, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation
Visualise processes into flow / control maps
Understand all existing and future system capability, updates, and potential configuration options for continuous improvement
Be a system SuperUser for all People & Culture People Systems
