**Operations Implementation Lead**

Newly created Operations unit seeking motivated professional to prioritise effective, efficient & customer-focused delivery of water services to SA.

**About the role**:

- Be part of the newly created Operations group as they build capability and capacity assisting with shaping our future and improve our data, analytics and performance outcomes. Create greater connectivity with internal and external stakeholders to better influence, manage expectations and control workflows. Designing a system of continuous improvement and a culture of operational excellence to build resilience into our operations._

In order to achieve identified operational and financial efficiencies, deliver customer-focused operations, and to serve as an operational input to enterprise initiatives, the Operations Implementation Lead will influence the prioritisation and delivery of operational projects within the improvement portfolio of SA Water's works.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the delivery of several key strategic initiatives /projects for the Operations Group, including oversight of all interdependencies covering strategic and tactical initiatives
- Build and lead an effective high performing team that works collaboratively toward achieving the organisation's goals
- Establish project governance principles and ways of working to establish decision making models, streamline delivery, manage risk and maximise operational efficiencies
- Pro-actively monitor progress of the project/program, managing quality and reporting accurately on cost, schedule and risk, leading project teams to success
- Drive and support the identification, monitoring, reporting and escalation of risks and issues across all Operations initiatives aligned to enterprise risk management practices.

**About the Person**:

- ** **extensive hands-on experience with project and/or program management within a process improvement and/or organisational development project space, having expertise in leading hybrid teams, scoping process improvements and driving change management. A natural presenter you will have outstanding written communications, this individual will have routinely presented pivotal information, progress updates, and plans to an operational workforce and other key stakeholders in order to gain buy-in, sponsorship and engagement.- Leading a high performing function, our Operations Implementation Lead will be motivated, dynamic, strategic and agile, require strong negotiation and influencing skills coupled with the ability to proactively navigate through conflict and challenges.- To be successful in this role you will have the ability to ‘roll the sleeves up and drive results.’ It is necessary to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, having previous practice in routinely fostering, building, and maintaining effective and meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.**In addition, the Operations Implementation Lead will require**:

- Demonstrated experience in Project and Program Management (cost, schedule, risk and change management)
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management related degree or significant industry experience
- Demonstrated experience managing continuous improvement projects and/or programs of work
- Demonstrated experience to liaise and agree project outcomes with multiple stakeholders in often complex situations
