**About the Assignment**

As a Chandler Macleod employee, on assignment with Santos, you will provide Construction Safety Leadership and support the project line management in driving construction safety with all personnel and contractors on the Moomba CCS project.

Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Establish clear standards for EHS performance and behaviour consistent with Company’s environmental, and health & safety vision and policies and standards
- Consult with key Stakeholders on development, implementation, and improvement of EHS programs and systems
- Foster strong relationships with our Contracting partners and ensure alignment with the Santos Health and Safety systems
- Implement and rolling out safety initiatives on site
- Ensure safety interfaces between Operations and other Moomba projects are well managed
- Process incidents and ensure actions are completed
- Interface with Construction contractor as required as the Owner’s EHS rep
- Monitor Contractor’s compliance with EHS management system, including audits
- Attend weekly site management meeting and safety walks
- Integrate into the site execution team and contribute to the development of task specific execution plans for high-risk activities
- Coordinate and lead Contractor and Sub-contractor EHS audits.
- Lead Proactive approach to ensure suitable hazard identification and controls are implemented and EHS compliance processes are followed
- Provide support and guidance in the reporting and investigation of incidents and near misses

This is a multi location role starting in Adelaide office and travel to Moomba camp-site as and when required.

**About you**
- Engineering or Project Management Degree Qualified or extensive industry experience in similar roles
- Previous experience in construction role in Oil and Gas or Mining (essential)
- Previous experience in a Safety Leadership role in Oil and Gas (essential)
- Relevant Occupational Health & Safety and risk management experience and qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Health and Safety, preferably in Oil and Gas
- Experience in incident investigation, ICAM and or TapRoot
- Experience in data analysis, trending & reporting would be highly regarded
- Experience in contractor management is required
