**Where you’d be working**:
Our development team is primarily based in our Forest Hill (VIC) offices and work closely with other Pronto Software departments to design, develop and deliver our award-winning ERP software - Pronto Xi, assisting our customers to achieve their current and future operational requirements.

**What you’d be doing (your day will look like this)**:
Development

Work with the Product Management team on scope, time and resource estimation for product development.
Ensure security testing is built into the product development and deployment process.
Provide feedback and report to Product Lifecycle Executive Team and the Product Management team on project delivery and risks.
Provide input as to the lifecycle and end-of-life process for infrastructure and platform.
Ensure that the software developed meets the quality, costs and timeline expectations.
Ensure the products built are scalable and aligned with the overall Product Development Strategy.
Monitor ongoing Business as Usual compliance requirements and ensure these are on the roadmap alongside new development, maintenance and customisations.
Ensure sufficient tools and documentation artifacts to support, maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure solutions.
Provide feedback to the Development Manager and Product Lifecycle Executive Team on future strategic objectives.
Provide a detailed roadmap of deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Responsible for keeping the infrastructure compliant and updated regularly and strongly appreciating security, risk, and data protection.
Explore and evaluate different technologies and make informed decisions on what is the best option for infrastructure solutions.
Provide thought leadership around technology, infrastructure, integration patterns, compliance, security, and best practices.

Team Leadership

Escalate Risks to Management and provide options to resolve or mitigate the risks.
Develop ongoing training and career growth strategies for the team members.
Ensure that single-point sensitivities are avoided, and that succession planning is in place.

General

Monitor and ensure that software is being developed as per the Pronto Software Secure Development Policy.
Work with and engage 3rd Party Companies as needed to allow scaling up and scaling down of resources.
Track the ongoing quality of the software delivered to customers.
Track and report usage statistics for the Apps.
In conjunction with the Development Manager, work on ongoing recruitment.
About you

**We’re looking for a Technology Platform Manager who has**:
7+ years in in software platform and framework development and deployment
At least 3 active experiences in managing Agile Development Teams
Demonstrated experience in managing a team of software developers.
A strong understanding of cloud and software Infrastructure.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Outcome-orientated and focused on delivering high-quality projects within time and budget estimations.
Strong relationship-building, customer engagement and communication skills
Up-to-date knowledge of best practices around software Development.
Understanding and experience of software engineering environment and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile Methods
A breadth of design-level thinking which can see the “bigger picture” in recommending possible long-term solutions while dealing in real-time with shorter-term approaches to meet specific challenges.
A strong understanding of secure coding practices such as the OWASP Top 10, CWE Top 25 and CERT Coding Standards.
Willing to undergo a Police Check
