**Your new company**

Our client is a large state government organisation who is seeking an Asset Officer to sit within the infrastructure department for a short term contract. You will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager and work in line with the Disability services and NDIS.

The role will require you to assist in the development of property maintenance plans, finding cost-effective solutions that will simplify existing processes, create tangible fleet management processes and be able to interpret policy to accurately advise stakeholders.

**Your new role**
- Liaising with stakeholders ensuring all business needs are being met.
- Safely and swiftly actioning all maintenance requests.
- Assist in developing modern solutions to managing NDIS related assets by documenting, researching and analysing current services.
- Reading and interpreting current and developing policy and procedure in a complex environment.
- Bridging the gap between internal and external stakeholders and accurately relaying all correspondence.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience of Project management with a basic understanding in asset management.
- Demonstrated IT skills and previous experience with databases and Basware.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding and experience reading and interpreting policy.
