**Your new company**

A Federal Government department with multiple subsections is looking for a Project Officer to assist some of their ICT Projects. The branch works across policy, program management and delivery teams.

**Your new role**

This role will see you working as part of a team to connect and coordinate across the branch ensuring frameworks for initiatives are in place, working with other teams to identify, plan, manage and implement initiatives. In this role you will be working to continuously improve internal and customer systems and processes, actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Within your role you will be responsible for assisting with complex projects, task management, coordinating activities and managing workflows. You will be committed to continuous improvement, be highly organised and have great communication skills.

**What you'll need to succeed**

As this role sits within Federal Government, it is mandatory to be an Australian Citizen to be successful in this role.

You will also need:

- Demonstrated experience working in a Project Officer/Project Coordinator position
- The ability to think creatively and with an open mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation, presentations and providing updates to a range of stakeholders
- The ability to understand technical information across multiple disciplines and analyse the information
- Experience working in agile project methodology
