**About the Role**
The Coordinator of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and International Engagement is a newly established role at the Melbourne Dental School (MDS), focusing on supporting administrative functions across both CPD and International Engagement initiatives. Reporting to the Manager of International Engagement, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders, including the CPD Coordinator and Academic Lead for CPD, to ensure the successful delivery of oral health programs and track financial activities. With a balanced workload between CPD and international engagement responsibilities, this role plays a key part in advancing the strategic goals of the School and the University.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Timely and efficient day-to-day running of the CPD courses by co-ordinating the planning, marketing, CPD related clinical placements (Royal Dental Hospital & Melbourne Dental Clinic) and delivery of CPD programs, both domestic & international
- Contribute to annual planning process for the CPD program suite of courses, budget preparation, monitoring of income and expenditure for CPD Courses, as well as ordering of laboratory equipment and consumables, and payment of clinical teaching staff.
- Support sponsorship activities for courses and international activities in the form of product donations-in-kind, discounted prices on stock and/or financial sponsorship.
- Liaise with external professional organisations, such as the ADA & Dental Board of Australia to maintain a sound knowledge of their policies and practices as they relate to CPD and to coordinate joint CPD programs.

**Who We Are Looking For**

You will also have:

- A completed degree with substantial relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and or education and training.
- Demonstrated experience in an equivalent administrative role that required coordination of a range of complex functions and provision of advice regarding policies and procedures.
- Outstanding professional interpersonal skills including a strong customer service ethic, the ability to effectively liaise with University staff, outside organisations, sponsors and international partners and guests,
