**About the Role**
We are seeking an International Partnerships Manager to join our team and lead our global engagement efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing relationships with our international partners throughout the entire partnership lifecycle, with the goal of building and maintaining strong, ongoing collaborations that enhance research, teaching, learning, and engagement activities. Working closely with academic and professional teams, you will collaboratively develop and implement strategies, programs of work, and support mechanisms to enable the Faculty's international focused activities. In this role as the key liaison between the Faculty and our international partners, intercultural competency and a proven track record in partnership development and relationship management is critical.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing relationships with international partners with a focus on expanding and sustaining mutually beneficially, long-term relations through the delivery of programs of work and ongoing engagement.
- Contributing to the development of the Faculty’s international strategy with consideration of University and National strategies, and linking this to an annual work plan.
- Identifying and assessing new opportunities and providing advice to the Faculty on the value of these opportunities, with a focus on international engagement that support the Faculty’s global reputation through academic, engagement and research partnerships. Opportunities could include research collaborations, joint curriculum, and programs that enhance staff and graduate research student mobility.
- Creating and managing frameworks to ensure partnerships are active and utilised fully, and implanting evaluation criteria to assess effectiveness and report on partnership activities.

**About You**
To be success for this role you will have:

- Extensive experience and qualifications in establishing and nurturing international partnerships or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders, including senior executives and professional teams, and to negotiate resource and support allocation to achieve portfolio objectives.
- Exemplary communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategies, processes, guidelines, frameworks, and work plans.
- To ensure the University continues to provide a safe environment for everyone, this position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check._
