- What role you will play?You will partner with multiple groups across Macquarie in relation to the groups’ external financial reporting deliverables that include group, bank, non-bank interim, annual financial statements and related regulatory reports. You will be responsible for month-end reporting, consolidation controls and participation in reporting and data transformation related projects that contribute to the continued success of this function.
- What you offer- Tertiary degree in accounting or similar and CA/CPA part qualified or qualified (3 years post qualification)
- Strong understanding and ability to interpret financial statements and accounting requirements and standards (Australian Accounting Standards/International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Excellent knowledge of consolidation accounting concepts
- Project management skills will be beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional and cross-border teams
- Knowledge and passion for data and regulatory reporting in a controlled environment
- Experience in financial services or investment banking industry is advantageous.
