A global, multi-billion-dollar market leader is home to some of the most iconic brands. With a presence in major markets worldwide, this business is synonymous with creativity and excellence.

The business is experiencing an exciting period of growth and change and is seeking a motivated Group Reporting Manager to support their Australian finance team for initially 6-months.  The role is a combination of hands-on and an advisory role to financial reporting while also playing a lead role in projects to enhance processes, controls, and SOX compliance.

Key requirements: 

  • Strengthen and oversee the financial control environment, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Play a key role in SOX adoption, with external partners, embedding sustainable internal controls and driving continuous improvements in governance frameworks.
  • Oversee the work with the external audit process, acting as the primary contact for auditors and addressing all Global Finance queries.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and SAP-related improvements to streamline month-end close, and reporting processes and productivity.
  • Partner with finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and risk/opportunity tracking to support decision-making.

Key criteria to be considered:

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Experience in financial reporting within a complex business environment.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement, controls enhancement, and SOX implementation./knowledge
  • Skilled at building strong relationships at all levels
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, with the ability to balance technical accuracy and commercial insight
