Our **Gas Utilities** division is continuing its success by driving innovation and change management which has resulted in new career opportunities becoming available within the Australian natural gas sector that we deliver within. These opportunities have been created to transform and grow Downer's capability within this market. Downer will lead the introduction of more efficient supervising, planning and work practices across CAPEX and OPEX cycles to ultimately improve our productivity and operational performance.

Critical to our success with supporting our clients in delivery will depend upon identifying experienced and capable resources that are willing to go above and beyond in order to succeed. With this in mind, we have fantastic opportunities available for a **Supervisor** in **Gas Networks** to be based in our **Ballarat, VIC** office.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Trade qualifications preferably in the gas industry related areas mainly a Cert IV or equivalent in Gas Operations.
- Experience in utilities related industry; Gas, Water, Telecommunications or Power.
- Proven skills in communication, planning, negotiation and problem-solving techniques & ability to meet established deadlines.
- Able to lead, empower a work force with experience supervising a blue collar or contract management.
- Demonstrated commitment to & knowledge of Quality Management principals, Zero Harm and Environmental Legislation.
- Practical knowledge of estimating, installation, maintenance and standard operating procedures for all components used in the gas distribution system.
