**About the role**

Reporting to the Production Delivery Manager, this role will see you leading a part of the site production team to ensure a safe, lean and dynamic customer-focused culture is instilled and sustained at all levels of the team and demonstrating leadership in health, safety and environmental management. This position has overall responsibility for achieving planned production yields in accordance with agreed production schedules, labour budgets, quality standards and safety KPIs intrinsic to the role. The role will also involve extensive customer interaction ensuring we communicate, understand and strive to deliver their requirements.

**About you**
- Tertiary or trade qualification in front line management, production management and/or an engineering discipline.
- Substantial experience 10 years plus in a production and/or plant maintenance environment.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
- A strong passion for developing and implementing innovative processes, systems and technology for a production and component rebuild operation
- Proven ability to develop and drive new business opportunities
- Track record of implementing and driving fundamental process improvement and sustainable organisational change.
- Experienced gained in the rail, automotive, military, defence, avionics or any other safety critical environment.
