Job Description - Painter and Blaster Supervisor (266096)# | | || --- | --- || Painter and Blaster Supervisor -266096 **FIFO from Major Cities | Accommodation & Meals Provided | Paid Travel Time** We’re seeking an experienced **Paint & Blast Supervisor** to lead a team at the **Alcoa Portland Aluminium Smelter** in Victoria. This is a key leadership role in a major **remediation coating program**, offering the chance to work with a global industry leader and deliver excellence on a high-profile project. **What We Offer** * 4–6 month contract * FIFO from major cities * Accommodation provided * Meal allowance * Paid travel time **Your Role** As Supervisor, you’ll manage daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity across all paint and blast activities. You’ll coordinate teams, monitor progress, and maintain compliance with strict safety standards. **About You** * Cert III in Surface Preparation & Coating Applications (desirable) * Proven experience supervising industrial blasting and painting teams * Rope Access (L1–L3) tickets – highly regarded * Work at Heights certification (valid within 3 years) – **mandatory** * Driver’s licence (preferred) * Construction Industry Induction (White Card) – preferred * Strong leadership and communication skills * Excellent time management and attention to detail * Ability to work collaboratively and independently **About UGL** UGL Pty Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services across sectors including rail, transport, oil & gas, power, renewables, and resources.
