The **Sales Manager NSW** is responsible for leading and developing a sales team as well as developing key relationships in the NSW market to drive real value for our clients through Playground XYZ products. The Sales Manager reports to the Head of Sales, APAC.

Sales Managers at Playground XYZ have a deep knowledge of the online media landscape, the advertising community and have 5+ years of proven media sales experience. Sales Managers are self motivated leaders who can work with internal teams and are committed to achieving and exceeding sales goals while growing Playground XYZ's products in their region.

**What You'll Achieve**
- Team Management and Leadership
- Oversee a team of sellers at various levels; building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met
- Drive effective recruitment, onboarding, professional development, performance management and retention of NSW Sales team members
- Translate regional strategy into individual actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide revenue goal setting and performance management
- Ensure team members are having the best possible Playground XYZ experience by inspiring team members and delivering meaningful feedback and coaching to the teams, evidenced by regular feedback requests, 1:1's, quarterly reviews and recognition
- Drive Revenue for NSW - Responsible for driving revenue and new business in our largest region. This role is responsible for leading teams who are driving revenue with NSW Agencies to grow business across a variety of accounts in multiple verticals:

- Drive Sales from Marketing Channels - Identify and qualify opportunities from marketing driven leads
- Sales Prospecting and Hunting - Expectation to generate a high volume of sales related activity including cold calling, presentations, RFP's, and out of the box sales solutions while managing margins
- Upsell current clients in current and new products - Provide market insight into product teams while also introducing the market to new Playground XYZ / GumGum products
- Relationship Development - Cultivate relationships with brands, agency contacts and clients to gain deep insight into their business and ultimately provide Playground XYZ solutions for their marketing and advertising goals.
- Translate Client Insight to internal Product Team - Provide feedback to the company on how to best service clients' needs
- Internal Collaboration - Work with internal teams to ensure sold proposals are successfully implemented and aligned with client expectations.

**Skills You'll Bring**
- Degree qualified in media or marketing/advertising equivalent
- Proven working experience in digital sales (5+ years of experience preferred)
- Proven sales leader with 5+ years in the media industry managing large books of business with at least 2 years at a manager level
- Excellent track record hitting sales targets.
- Exceptional digital agency contacts across OMG, Group M, Publicis, IPG and Dentsu
- Deep knowledge across digital media, programmatic, ad tech and mobile
- Effective Player/Coach who can lead from the front and bridge the gap from high level meetings to actually delivering results.
- Proficient in Salesforce
- Highly strategic thinker who can anticipate roadblocks and put together cohesive plans to overcome.
- Ability to prioritize workload, balance multiple tasks at once and a solid attention to detail
- Excellent listener, negotiator and presenter
- An innovative problem solver who is proactive and loves to get things done
