A leading national food supplier providing a quality range of products to our customers ranging from a restaurant to supermarkets, a retailer or a wholesaler.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Account Manager to lead and develop a small team of professionals across NSW and ACT. This is a leadership role focused on driving sales growth, building and maintaining existing accounts, developing a high-performing team, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a sales team, ensuring performance, development, and engagement.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance insights to management.
- Monitor and manage sales performance, margins, and team productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality standards.
About You
- 7–10 years of experience in sales and account management, preferably in FMCG or related sectors, with significant experience leading teams.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to drive team performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with sales data analysis, forecasting, and CRM tools.
- Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven.
- Willingness to travel within NSW and ACT as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field an advantage.
