EP Risk is an Australian owned environmental consultancy that delivers real and cost-effective solutions to landowners, property developers, councils, governments, and civil construction contractors.
Our specialist services include contaminated land management; site remediation; asbestos; occupational hygiene; geotechnical engineering; hydrogeology; landfill and hazardous materials management.
Through practical and tailored advice, our scientific team and project managers focus on addressing the risks posed to, current and future, site users and environmental receptors.
In response to a growing portfolio of projects ranging from due diligence up to major infrastructure sites, we are seeking to expand our team to include an Administrative Assistant with 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
You will be responsible for the smooth operation of our Newcastle office, supporting a team of eight environmental scientists and engineers.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Coordinate and carry out all general office administration functions including reception, mail, couriers, filing, ordering stationary.
- Components of IT support, HR administration and Executive Assistant duties such as minute taking and diary management.
- Project support such as document formatting, preparation of tenders, project invoicing.
- Organising social events and team functions as required.
- Foster a supportive workplace culture in relation to anti-discrimination, fair work practice and team support; organise social/team build activities as requested.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1-3 years previous experience in a similar role.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management, prioritisation and organisation skills.
- Have a proactive approach to work, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Be an Australian citizen/permanent work visa with no sponsorship requirements.
