Compliance Officer, Business Trainer, Hospitality

**Exciting opportunity to join and progressive and expanding RTO**

Joan Lawman College is a Registered Training Organization delivering accredited and non-accredited training to a range of different clients. Recent business developments have resulted in a requirement for qualified and experienced compliance officer with the ability to manage training operations on ELICOS courses, Business courses and Hospitality management courses.

**Position 1: Compliance Officer**

The primary objective of this position is to ensure a high standard of service is provided, in compliance with VET Quality Framework, ESOS Framework, regulations and policies e.g. Standards for RTO’s 2015, CRICOS National Code 2018, ELICOS National Standards.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification in relevant field and or relevant experience, at least Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Minimum: three years working in compliance and administration in a CRICOS Registered Training Organisation
- Experience submitting AVETMIS data and annual compliance declaration or other RTO data requirements.
- Manage RTO scope of registration including reviewing scope regularly and communicating any changes to staff members
- Knowledge of auditing/quality systems and processes to ensure they are implemented, followed and meet regulatory requirements. This includes demonstrated ability to plan and implement changes into relevant documentation
- Experience in coordinating ASQA audits and changes in scope
- High level knowledge and experience working with trainers and international students
- High level communication skills (both written and verbal) to support organisational reporting requirements
- Conduct assessment validation on assessor judgements and training products

**Position 2- ELICOS Trainer**:
ELICOS trainer will be required to teach General English with various levels.

**Essential Requirements**:

- have the relevant vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered or assessed, and;
- must have at least two years' experience working with international students.
- a recognised Bachelor Degree and a recognised postgraduate TESOL qualification or
- a Bachelor of Education with a TESOL major or equivalent, and
- a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- continue to develop their vocational and training and assessment competencies to support continuous improvements in the delivery of RTO services.
- Ability to engage students whilst delivering face to face training with attention to quality service.
- Strong work ethic and organisation skills.
- High level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver education material in a classroom student environment

**Position 3- Business Trainer**

Business trainer will be required to teach Certificate III to Diploma of Business.

**Essential Requirements**:

- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and assessment
- Must have the relevant vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered or assessed
- Have the relevant vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered or assessed, and;
- Have relevant industry currency
- Must have at least two years' experience working with international students.
- Continue to develop their vocational and training and assessment competencies to support continuous improvements in the delivery of RTO services.
- Ability to engage students whilst delivering face to face training with attention to quality service.
- Strong work ethic and organisation skills.
- High level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver education material in a classroom student environment

**Position 4 - Hospitality management trainer**

**Essential requirements**:

- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and assessment
- Advanced Diploma / Diploma in Hospitality Management
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
- Must have significant work experience in hospitality industry
- Must have minimum 2 years of vocational education and training experience Ongoing commitment to professional development along with industry currency
- Must have at least two years' experience working with international students
- Ability to engage students whilst delivering face to face training with attention to quality service.
- Strong work ethic and organisation skills.
- Able to visit and support students at work place
- Ability to plan and conduct training according to the training and assessment strategy.
- High level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver education material in a classroom student environment

**Salary**: $64,740.19 - $121,298.43 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
