**Job Summary**
Seeking an experienced and engaging trainer to deliver the Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB50420) to a diverse cohort of adult learners. This role involves delivering training, assessing competency, and ensuring compliance with RTO and ASQA standards.

**About the Role**
Melbourne Institute of Business and Commerce (MIBC) is expanding its vocational education team and is looking for a dedicated and qualified **Trainer & Assessor** to deliver the nationally recognised **BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management**.

You’ll be working with a mix of international and domestic students, using a blended or flexible delivery model. Support and resources are provided by our academic team, but we’re also looking for someone who brings initiative, real-world experience, and a learner-first mindset.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Deliver engaging and structured classes based on MIBC’s Leadership & Management curriculum (both in-person and online)
- Facilitate group-based and one-on-one training in accordance with the Training and Assessment Strategy
- Assess student submissions, provide timely feedback, and determine competency in line with unit requirements
- Maintain accurate training and assessment records in compliance with RTO/ASQA standards
- Monitor student progress and provide academic support as needed
- Participate in validation and moderation activities as scheduled
- Liaise with the Academic Coordinator to ensure the delivery meets quality benchmarks

**What You’ll Need**
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent, with necessary upgrades)
- Relevant vocational qualification at Diploma level or higher (e.g. Business, Management, Leadership)
- Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant industry experience in leadership or management roles
- Demonstrated experience delivering BSB qualifications (preferably BSB50420 or BSB51918)
- Strong understanding of RTO compliance requirements and competency-based training
- Ability to facilitate training for diverse adult learners, including international students
- Excellent communication, organisation, and record-keeping skills
- Available on **Wednesday and Thursdays** to deliver onsite
