**The Role**
The Non -ICT Contractor Support (NICS) team in the Finance Branch supports the Department to undertake non-ICT labour hire procurement activities.
NICS provides advice and guidance to ensure the non-ICT labour hire procurements are in line with all legislative requirements and policy framework and can also assist with the engagement process.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, this position will provide advice to Business Areas seeking to engage contractors and will provide specialist advice and guidance to embed best practice within the department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
As an APS 6, you will be responsible for:

- Provision of accurate and timely support and advice to all areas within the department on non-ICT contractor engagement related matters, in accordance with the relevant legislation.
- Embedding procurement best practice through the provision of training and maintenance of the team’s intranet presence, including procurement artefacts, tools, webinars, and templates.
- Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders, including labour hire firms.
- Reviewing and/or drafting procurement related documentation including spending proposals, request for quotes, contracts, and deeds of variation.
- Managing the work orders, extension requests to work orders and purchase orders for the engagement of non-ICT contractors.
- Working with colleagues within the department to support the delivery of joined-up corporate services.
