Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an experienced
**Procurement Officer** to collaborate on various projects.

**About the role**:
The Australian and New Zealand Governments are collaborating on a project to deliver improved position, navigation, and timing services across both countries.
The project will provide government furnished elements and evidence of oversight and assurance during the establishment phase.
**Duties of the position**:
- Provide expertise and technical knowledge in procurement to project staff and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of team objectives for short-term tasks and strategic planning for longer-term initiatives.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary virtual team across Australia and New Zealand.
- Produce procurement documents, records, and reports requiring little or no revision before finalization.
- Anticipate and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations.
**Required skills/experience**:
- Relevant certifications/qualifications in the field of procurement
- Demonstrated experience with approach-to-market, contract negotiation, and contract management.
- 5 years or more of experience working in government procurement.
