Looking for a permanent transfer? Seeking an experienced procurement officer to join a large procurement team in a diverse Federal Government Department.

**Your new role**

Where required, your role will provide advice, guidance, and support to a range of stakeholders. You will be responsible for upholding the integrity of the procurement process while assessing and minimising the risks involved. Additional duties include:

- Providing procurement and grants policy, advice, guidance and support to range of stakeholders
- Providing expert advice and leading and/or assisting in significant approaches to market
- Providing advice and support in relation to High Risk, High Value procurements
- Management and oversight of the Department’s corporate contracts and panels
- Procurement related reporting
- Managing a Department-wide helpdesk which provides advice to business areas on a wide range of procurement activity
- Assisting business areas by submitting Requests for Quote on AusTender Dynamic Sourcing for Panels
- Reviewing and clearing all Limited Tender and Exempt procurement proposals and Contract Extensions by Variation.
- Mentoring junior procurement officers

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience cultivating stakeholder relationships
- Procurement experience within a federal government department
- Baseline clearance or the willingness to obtain one.
- Leadership skills at APS 6 work level standard
