About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a People Business Partner and make a significant impact on our organization's growth and success. As a proactive collaborator, you'll partner closely with our leadership team, leveraging your technical and professional expertise to navigate a diverse range of Human Resources policies, programs, and practices. Your contributions will extend to delivering people-centric services and activities that foster a constructive, high-performance culture, driving commercial growth, and achieving successful business outcomes.
About you

You will have experience working in a large, multi-site organisation that changes quickly. The People Business Partner roles play a vital role in supporting the business strategy & drive successful outcomes that minimise risk and maximum employee engagement and business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysing, prioritising and responding proactively to business unit needs related to People and providing feedback to management on recommendations for improvement- Delivering operational support and guidance to business leaders, supervisors & employees on employee relations/counselling, performance management, job design, remuneration and benefits, organisational change management, recruitment, job evaluations, awards, compliance, health & safety, employee development and succession planning- Researching issues and developing recommendations to resolve Line Management issues- Monitoring the effectiveness of People services and continually looking for ways to improve- Focusing on driving high performance and accountability for people initiatives / programs across the business- Being a positive and proactive participant in national People initiatives and work in alignment with the- Providing a confidential and trusted channel for employee advice, queries, concerns and issues- Undertaking site and national reporting as required
Key Skills and Attributes Required:
- Strong HR background, open to experience in an advisory role- Exposure and understanding of different Enterprise Agreements- Exposure to and knowledge of a diverse range of HR specialties including learning & development, remuneration, industrial relations, recruitment, succession planning, resource planning and change management- Indepth Employee Relations experience in a HR capacity would be desirable.- Strong knowledge of current employment legislation- Experience in Workday is advantageous- Relevant tertiary qualification in human resources/business or equivalent experience
Other Position Requirements:- Australian Citizenship- Hybrid | Melbourne CBD | Onsite 3 days a week, with the ability to increase this if required
