We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team on a temporary basis

**Job Title**:Temporary HR Business Partner (Public Sector Experience Preferred)

**Job Type**: Temporary 3-6 months

**Location**: Frankston

**Salary**: VPS5 Banding

As the Temporary HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization by providing strategic and tactical HR support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as a trusted HR advisor to senior management and line managers on HR policies, procedures and employee relations issues
- Implement and manage HR initiatives, policies and programs to support the organizations' goals and objectives
- Provide support in recruitment and retention, including participating in interviews, conducting reference checks and overseeing onboarding and offboarding processes
- Provide guidance and support in performance management, talent management, and career development
- Support managers in conducting investigations and resolving employee relations issues
- Partner with the wider HR team to ensure consistency and compliance across HR policies and procedures
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement HR best practices

**Requirements**:

- Experience in HR Generalist duties, including strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, employment law, and employee relations
- Public sector experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
