An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Officer (Inventory) to join a dynamic team at Brandbank.

This role will be responsible for managing the capturing of invoices and the reconciliation of general ledger accounts in relation to inventory for Brandbank Group of brands, consisting of Seed Heritage, Unison, Commonry, Allkinds, Fine-Day and kikki.K.

**THE ROLE**:

- Process all transactions for inventory
- Reconcile stock invoices to supplier invoices and merchandise system
- Preparation of weekly and monthly payments in line with cash flow requirements and supplier terms
- Manage the internal relationship with buyers and external stock supplier
- Managing the reconciliation of all inventory balances at end of month to internal merchandise system
- Reconcile all payments to banking transactions
- Manage Wholesale invoices and reconciliation
- Main contact for external and internal warehouses for any stock and reconciliation issues
- Forecast monthly stock requirements for cash flow purposes

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in accounting
- Experience in a similar Accounts Payable role
- Thorough and current understanding of Accounting Standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight tight deadlines
- Strong organisation skills and time management abilities
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Comfortable working on-site in our St Kilda Rd Offices 5 days per week.
