Our client is a well-established Australian organization that partners with well-known Educational organizations. They are seeking a switched on, Accounts Payable officer to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
**The Role**

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the end to end function of Accounts Payable as well as assistance to the wider finance team. Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, your daily tasks will include;
End-to-end Accounts Payable which includes domestic and overseas transactions which includes some of the following:
- Processing invoices - domestic and overseas
- Payments
- Reconciliations
- Analysis
- Cash flow management
- Participating in financial audits
- GST/VAT checks for Australia and overseas
- Monthly accruals
- Managing credit card expenses
- Implementing process improvements
- Other ad hoc projects assigned by your Manager
**Skills and Experience**
- Prior experience (5-years) in a similar Accounts Payable position
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work proficiently in a high volume environment
- Positive and vibrant personality
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Workday is highly desirable
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Problem solving/analysis skills
