**The Client**
Our client is very well known in the market, and during COVID they were able to perform better than ever before Due to the volume of work that are seeking an Accounts Payable Office with strong and high volume processing capabilities to join their team in a full time ongoing role - viewed to be made permanent.
**The Role**
For the need our client have this Accounts Payable Officer will initially be responsible for the high volume processing of invoices - upwards of 100 invoices per day. Reporting into the manager you will also be responsible for;
- Matching invoices with purchase orders and processing a high volume of invoices
- Statement reconciliations
- Process supplier payments within supplier trading terms.
- Reconcile the accounts payable control account in the general ledger to the sub-ledger each month
- Ensure petty cash is replenished and reconciled in a timely manner
- End of month reporting
- Previous experience within an Accounts Payable position.
- Experience in using SAP is preferred, otherwise a large ERP system.
- Foreign exchange experience is essential
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to prioritise own work, and have excellent time management skills
- Working in a team, you must have a team player mentality and willingness to assist the team as and when required.
