The **Head of Sales, WA** is responsible for leading the WA sales team to provide exceptional service to our customers, tenaciously drive sales growth and deliver the overall sales strategy.

You will have the ability to consult, negotiate, and engage with your stakeholders, while your commercial expertise will be vital to interpret and provide insights into competitive positioning and new customer opportunities.

You will be providing hands-on coaching, mentoring, and motivating your team and stakeholders to deliver results on the strategies you implement.

**In this role you will be accountable to**:

- Utilise market and customer data to inform and create new business acquisition, grow share of customer business, and build retention strategies/initiatives designed to drive and maximise revenue and profit growth
- Lead the development of the strategic and financial targets
- Provide coaching, guidance and building capability of Sales team.
- Providing Senior Leadership to the local WA Team / NT team / Geraldton Retail Team
- Managing Operational Expenditure to within budget
- Work with other department leads (Marketing/Merchandising/Operations) to contribute to the overall organizational strategy

**Skills & experience required**:

- 5-10 years relevant senior sales / management experience
- Experience leading cross functional teams
- Strong leadership skills and ability to identify a team’s strengths and opportunities and drive performance culture
- Strong understanding of the current market conditions and economics, in Australia.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders
