With this exceptional growth journey, we are looking to recruit self-motivated, dynamic, and dedicated people leader to join us on the Airport Manager position. Reporting to the General Manager, it is a key position responsible for managing and overseeing the Brisbane Airport operations while ensuring all team goals and objectives are met while key stake-holder relationships are well maintained.
- Be based at Brisbane and lead from the front with a hands-on approach,
- Manage costs and overheads and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the business,
- Set targets and pricing within company guidelines,
- Manage selling and customer service activities and staff competence to optimize and sustain sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction, by providing exemplary levels of service in all areas,
- Manage relationships with the Airports and businesses within your remit,
- Manage, motivate, recruit, train and develop staff, within company guidelines and employment legislation, for them to reach their potential for themselves and the group,
- Plan and forecast the seasonal demands of the business and to complete weekly reports of business,
- Be involved with budgets, other financial reports, and accountants in conjunction with head office and line management,
- Manage and maintain health and safety, security, and emergency systems,
- Conduct regular audits on all staff and immediately report any serious irregularities or uncovering of theft.
- Proven 3+ years of experience being in managerial position within the financial services industry, preferably in foreign exchange or retail,
- Strong leadership and customer management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill set,
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels,
- Customer service oriented with in-depth knowledge of business management processes,
- Real passion for delivering positive outcomes with higher attention to detail,
- Accuracy when dealing with money, numbers-driven, diligent, and outcome-focused,
- Professional attitude, tidy and well-presented appearance,
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs,
- Ability to work in a demanding environment autonomously or being part of close-knit team,
- Initiative-taking approach to problem-solving and driving operational efficiencies,
- Must be based at Brisbane, holding full working rights to work in Australia,
- Must be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
