Capacity Analyst
It is an exciting time to join Brisbane Airport, as we embark on our greatest transformation — investing more than $5 billion into our infrastructure over the next five years.
This role is within our Airport Planning Division and plays an important role in supporting data-driven decisions relating to infrastructure and operational efficiency.
Who we are
Brisbane Airport Corporation is a proud, Queensland-based company that manages Brisbane Airport (BNE), an award-winning hub and a key gateway to Australia and the world. Together, we are building an airport that connects people, creates community and supports our economy for generations to come.
We are passionate about what we do, and we are excited to make a positive difference connecting our communities, businesses and people with the world. Our team is committed and driven, and it's because of them that BNE is such a great airport.
About the role
The Capacity Analyst is responsible for supporting Brisbane Airport across all aspects of capacity planning as an interface between the airport's operations teams, the forecast levels of aviation activity, and the airport development teams to ensure data-driven decision-making for infrastructure planning and operational efficiency.
Key deliverables associated with this position include problem-solving, assisting with the development and maintenance of demand and capacity models for key infrastructure types, assisting with updating capacity triggers linked to the capital plan, and delivering actionable insights via capacity dashboards. The role also involves assisting with ad hoc capacity analysis for planning and development projects using in-house tools and external consultants as required.
About you
You like to be part of a happy, high performing team and take pride in making a difference through doing great work.
You will be tertiary qualified in a relevant field (Mathematics, Business, Economics etc.), with analytical experience in operations, planning or business, with skills in BI, SQL, and Power BI.
We are seeking a motivated, inquisitive individual, with a high level of initiative. Previous airline or airport experience would be great, though not essential. If you're someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at managing multiple priorities, we would love to hear from you, because that is a day in the life at Brisbane Airport.
Our proposition
Our culture is built on communication, collaboration, courage, and care — values we live by with our colleagues, stakeholders, partners and the community. We recognise that our most important priority is keeping our people safe and that looking after their wellbeing and development gives them every opportunity to thrive.
We offer a range of other benefits including:
- An exciting airport environment fostering opportunities to collaborate with dynamic business groups.
- Free parking at Domestic and International terminals anywhere, anytime for as long as you need.
- Generous leave types including 15 days personal leave, 3 well-being days, cultural and volunteer leave, and an extra leave day at Christmas—on us.
- Expansive employee wellbeing initiatives.
A full list of our benefits can be found here: Careers at BAC | Employee Benefits )
