About the role

Reporting to the Terminals Portfolio Manager, the Design Manager is responsible for managing the design process, including output of all appointed consultants, for the airport terminal developments and any other assigned projects; ensuring that all design project activities align with project deliverables, Brisbane Airport Corporation's (BAC) design management framework, meet stakeholder expectations, and are delivered to the highest standards of quality, time, and cost.

• Project Development and Delivery Support
• Safety in Design Leadership

About you

You like to be part of a happy, high performing team and take pride in making a difference through doing great work.

You will be tertiary qualified in a relevant field (Architecture, Engineering etc.) and deeply experienced in design management, with a strong focus on complex brownfield infrastructure or terminal projects. This will include leadership of multidisciplinary design teams and managing consultant performance as well as the leadership of Safety in Design processes.

We are seeking a motivated individual, who is capable of building and maintaining productive relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. Whilst previous airline or airport experience would be great, if you're someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at managing multiple priorities, we would love to hear from you, because that is a day in the life at Brisbane Airport.
